I’m a big fan of film scores, and every year or so I get a bee up my bonnet to share my favorite tracks from my collection. So! Here’s 2012’s list, conveniently categorized according to the mood you might want to evoke. Enjoy!
So, you put your Windows computer to sleep for the night. Come back the next day, wake up your computer to do some work on that image you’ve had open and….
Oh dear, you’ve seemed to have lost all pressure sensitivity and high resolution tracking! Well, you figure, let’s go check the driver settings. Maybe it just needs to be reminded that it’s awake? You go to Control Panel, Wacom Properties Configu—-
Now, you figure, it’s time to close photoshop, all your windows and programs, and do the dreaded system restart. What a fun time this is.
But HOLD ON, I say! There’s another way, yet! Try this out first before pulling the plug:
Open your Start menu (or press the Windows Key) and simply type “Services”. There will be an icon at the top of your list which appears to be two small gears withe the name “Services” — imagine that? Double click that and look what happens next:
Scroll down the list and select “Wacom Professional Tablet Service” from the list of services and click the little “Restart” link in the column to the left. Now simply wait for the service to stop and start itself back up again!
If for some reason, clicking this little “Restart” button makes matters WORSE, the failsafe approach is the manual restart. Double click the “Wacom Professional —” service and a window will pop up.
Manually stop the Wacom driver by clicking the clearly marked button. Wait for it to shut down, then start it back up again when the button becomes visible. Once restarted, click OK!
Test your Tablet now in Photoshop. You may have your pressure sensitivity fully restored!
IF NOT, simply close and reopen Photoshop, which will be nice and quick since it (and your work) will still be loaded into recent memory. It surely beats having to restart the whole computer!
Now, providing you’ve done it correctly, you should find your Wacom’s pressure and tracking sensitivity fully restored! Bravo for discovering such a wonderful little time saver.

REDUX EDIT MAKERS, BACKGROUNDS, PIXEL BLOGS AND MORE UNDER THE CUT!!!
wait up, whats this about chaining and such what i just googled it but all i find is old stuff sui would it be too much to explain?
I try to get me a shiny
there is the matsuda method:
get a japanese ditto or a pokemon from another country then yours
put them together in the pension
and breed the hell out of them
the chances are higher to get a shiny when both pokemon are from a different country
pokemon from different country in pension chances are: 1/1200
both pokemon from same country in pension chances are :1/8200
and there is shiny chaining:
you do that with the pokeradar which you will get after the elite 4 from a professor in the first floor in sycamores labor
then u have to buy some super repels and go into big grass places and try to encounter a specific pokemon certain times, after 40 encounters of one and the same species the chances are higher to get a shiny, there are some tutorials on the internet and you should look for the rules. its almost the same method like in D/P/P
and then there is horde battle chaining:
get a pokemon with sweet scent, go into the grass and use the attack, after a few hordbattles shiny pokemon encounter should go up
“I stay up
until 2 am
it as at this time
I can use the lateness
as an excuse
to say terribly emotional things
and get away with saying them.
Let me tell you
I am constantly
thinking of these things
that I say to you
at 2 am.”—Unknown (via aestheticintrovert)
➳ BELLA’S TUTORIAL 001 ;how to write a character who is high.
Ha, I love this question. It’s actually really simple – the majority of people make being high a lot more complicated (and false) than it needs to be. Enjoy a few tips from my experiences below the cut. Before we get started, I would like to point out that all experiences are different and while these tips may not be what you have found to be accurate, they are what I encountered while under the influence. Sorry if this is offensive?? Idek lol.
As a person who has an intimate history with this drug, I felt like I could be somewhat qualified in offering a firsthand experience with it. In this guide it will follow the imaginary stages of someone becoming addicted, becoming a user, and the aftermath of recovery/former use. Hopefully this will help writers with any characters they are creating, or going to take on. (Helpful links included)
TRIGGER WARNING: DRUG ABUSE & ADDICTION I ask that anyone who reblogs this please tag it with an appropriate trigger warning. Thank you!
A list of 70+ names to choose from for a character. They’re all male names as requested. Most are common, but you’ll find some unique ones too. This was requested by anonymous, so I went ahead and did it. Enjoy.
If you ever run out of ides for a last name, check here and maybe you’ll find one that’s calling you! (I put it on numbers so perhaps you could CTRL+F and type a number for a random name!) Some are more common than others. In alphabetical order.
Everyone seen the movies with the super suave guy in the slick suit sitting at poker table, calmly going all in, or the Vegas ads where people go crazy when they somehow beat the house. However, it’s important to note that gambling can be a serious problem for people and lead to a lot of different problems. I don’t have any personal experience with compulsive gambling, nor do I know anyone with such a problem. All of this information was obtained through research.
